Man, I hear you.

It's that idea of "how do you eat an elephant?" You don't gorge. You just eat it. One bite at a time, allowing time to digest.

I think that if I'm working at a different job next November (which I hope to god I am) I'll give it another shot. But squeezing a word count in around a full-course-load teaching schedule with no prep time is grueling and I get so focused on pounding out words that I lose sight of the reason why I get psyched about an idea.
